Learning and Action on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation



Truth & Land Back 


Yellowhead School is talking Land Back. On September 30, they're releasing a free, open-source, online course on the ways that Canada dispossesses Indigenous people of the land, and the strategies that Indigenous communities are using to get it back.


To launch the course, they’re holding an online panel event with course collaborators Shady Hafez, Riley Yesno, and moderator Hayden King, followed by a screening of the short film "Return to Gale Creek" hosted by Megan Scribe. September 30, 1-3pm ET.






One Day’s Pay

A grassroots campaign mobilizing settlers and non-Indigenous people to give one day's pay (or what you can afford) to Indigenous-led projects, movements, organizations and nations.

Orange Shirt Society - Opening conversation on Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind. An annual day for survivors and those affected to be reaffirmed that they matter.


Qqs - Creating opportunities for Heiltsuk youth and families to learn on the land and from the land in Bella Bella, BC — the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest.
